Volley Stats Privacy Policy

Volley Stats is a volleyball statistics and analysis application designed for coaches, assistant coaches, and team staff.

Information Collection

Volley Stats does not require user accounts and does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.

Voice Feature

The optional Voice feature uses your device's microphone and your device's speech recognition service (Apple's on iOS, Google's on Android) to turn spoken stat commands into text. Volley Stats does not store audio or transcripts and does not send them to us. Speech recognition is performed by Apple or Google and is governed by their privacy policies.

Match Data

Match statistics, rosters, practice sessions, and related information entered into Volley Stats are stored locally on the user's device.

The application does not transmit match data to our servers and does not share match data with third parties. If you choose to export or share a PDF, Excel file, or video clip link, it is sent only through the sharing option you select on your device, and only to the recipients you choose.

Because match data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time from within the app or by uninstalling Volley Stats. We cannot recover data that has been deleted.

Analytics

Volley Stats uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Firebase Analytics may collect app usage events (for example, which features are opened), device information (such as device model, operating system version, and app version), approximate location derived from your IP address, and a randomly generated app instance identifier. This information is processed by Google on our behalf and is governed by Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

We do not send player names, match statistics, or other roster and match data to analytics. Analytics data is retained by Google for a limited period under Firebase's standard retention settings.

Advertising and Tracking

Volley Stats does not show ads, does not use advertising networks, does not access your device's advertising identifier, and does not collect data for advertising purposes. Volley Stats does not track users across websites, apps, or devices.

Third-Party Services

Volley Stats may use services provided by third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase Analytics, for app usage analytics (described above).
• Apple's and Google's speech recognition services, for the optional Voice feature.
• YouTube, when you link and play a match or practice video inside the app. YouTube and Google may collect data when a video is played, according to YouTube's terms and Google's privacy policy.
• Google Play, the Apple App Store, and your device's operating system, for app distribution, updates, and basic functionality.

Children's Privacy

Volley Stats is intended for use by coaches and team staff and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any player names or details entered into the app by a coach are stored only on the coach's device.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically as the application evolves. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
